NEW artist impressions of the proposed Denbighshire Community Hospital development in Rhyl have been released.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is inviting residents to share feedback on the development.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the health board has continued to work with partners, Kier and Gleeds, on the development.
Plans for the new hospital and refurbishment of the Royal Alexandra Hospital will be submitted to Denbighshire County Council in June.
A spokesperson for BCUHB said: "The health board is inviting residents to see progress made so far this year and get involved in sharing thoughts and opinions on the project.
"New artistic impressions of the work carried out by Kier and Gleeds to redesign the hospital have also been released, showing the hospital’s newly redesigned location at the rear of the existing Royal Alexandra Hospital."
The new hospital, being built on and around the site of the Royal Alexandra Hospital, will include modern, fit for purpose facilities for new and existing services.
New services include: Inpatient beds; services for treating minor injuries and ailments; an intravenous therapies suite and a community well-being hub and community café.
The £40million hospital aims to bring essential care services ‘closer to home'.
A fly-through video has been produced to give an idea of what the new hospital will look like when completed.
