THERE has been an incident of 'alleged animal cruelty' involving a dog in Kinmel Bay.
As a result of evidence gathered, the dog has been seized and checked over by a vet.
NWP Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele posted on Facebook on Friday, May 22: "Police are aware of an incident of alleged animal cruelty involving a dog, on St Asaph Avenue.
"Arrangements have been made to interview the offender and the RSPCA are aware."
A spokesperson from RSPCA Cymru said: "We are aware of reports of a concerning incident in Conwy involving a dog. We have liaised with North Wales Police, who are leading on this matter.
"We urge anybody with information, footage or who witnessed anything to contact North Wales Police."
North Wales Police had no further comment to make at this time (Friday, May 22).
Anyone with information is asked to telephone police on 101.
