A MAN accused of committing arson in Builth Wells will stand trial after pleading not guilty.
Stephen Mark Hill, 58, has been charged with two counts of arson alleged to have taken place at Cwrt Y Castell, Builth Wells in April.
Hill, represented at Cardiff Crown Court sitting remotely as Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court by defence solicitor Gavin Rofer, entered not guilty pleas to the charges put by Dyfed Llion Thomas, prosecuting.
The charges denied by Hill are arson, and arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered.
Judge Michael Fitton remanded Hill in custody and set a date for a trial to start on September 16, at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court.
The trial is scheduled to last for three days.
