HIGH Wycombe’s Asda is set to get a big makeover as part of new plans to shake up the layout of the store.
Bosses at the supermarket, based on Crest Road, have asked Buckinghamshire Council for permission to make changes to the site’s home shopping pod and click and collect area.

The existing home shopping section will be relocated and a new home shopping pod will go up on the north-east side of the building.
Bosses hope this will “increase the efficiency of the existing home shopping operation which will lead to more of the local community having access too and being served by this service.”
The store’s drive-thru Click and Collect area will be enlarged and upgraded to allow covered access while groceries are loaded.

Planning documents show nearby trees will not be affected by this proposal and the main entrance will remain unchanged.
The plans are currently being considered by Buckinghamshire Council.
