A CAR containing people from three households were on a 500 mile round trip to Snowdonia when they were stopped by police.
Officers from the Brecon Roads Policing Unit stopped the car in Builth Wells on Tuesday.
The occupants told the officers they were from three different households in England and were taking a "sightseeing trip" to the Snowdonia National Park.
Four Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) were issued and the occupants were told to return home.
The unit tweeted: "Three different households in one car from England sightseeing in Wales, stopped at Builth Wells.
"Had planned on conducting a 500 mile round trip to Snowdonia National Park.
"Four FPNs issued and vehicle sent home."
Although lockdown measures have been eased in England, they are stronger in Wales.
People are still advised only to travel if it is essential, ideally within five miles.
