A RHYL man has been jailed after drugs were found in a raid of his storage locker.

Christopher Roper, 31, from Rhyl has been sentenced to six years and eight months in prison for drugs offences after a warrant was executed at his storage locker in Rhyl, where a quantity of cannabis valued at £240,000 was recovered.

Sgt Kevin Smith said: “Officers in Denbighshire and Abergele Coastal district are intent on bringing those to justice who deal in illegal drugs and cause untold harm to the community.”

“We want to thank the public for the information they share with us and the courts for supporting our joint efforts with the sentence handed to Christopher Roper. I would like to reassure the public that we will continue to support you in making the area a safe place to live.”
