A FLINTSHIRE woman died after a fall at home, an inquest heard.
Judith Mary Douglas, 86, died at her home on Terrig Crescent in Buckley on July 15.
At a brief hearing in Ruthin, John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, said concerns had been raised for Mrs Douglas' welfare after she was seen sitting with the back of her head to the glass pane window on her front door.
Emergency services, including the fire service, subsequently attended the address and after gaining entry to the house found that she had fallen.
Despite all care and efforts Mrs Douglas, a retired cleaner, sadly died at the scene.
A post mortem undertaken in the wake of her death found a provisional cause of death to be severe blood loss from a leg injury, coupled with old age and coronary atheroma (heart disease).
