RESIDENTS across Wales are being reminded to keep fly-tipping incidents at a low level as the coronavirus lockdown eases.

According to Traffic Wales, 35,076 fly-tipping incidents were recorded in the country last year. However, since lockdown began in March, there has, understandably, been less litter on the roads.

Traffic Wales are now appealing to members of the public to keep these low levels of fly-tipping incidents going as drivers returns to the roads.

A spokesperson said: "Let’s keep it that way as things get busier- don’t throw litter on our network.

"Not only is it illegal it's antisocial."
