A NEW takeaway burger restaurant has opened its doors in Llangollen.

Castle Burgers, situated on Castle Street, opened its doors to the public on Tuesday and offers 100 per cent fresh meat.

The takeaway has been opened by Reza Noori - who also owns Castle Tandoori Indian restaurant and Castle Bistro both in Chirk and Gresford Fish Bar.

Mr Noori said: "At Castle Burgers we are passionate about food and love supporting local produce.

"All our burgers are handmade, because we know and hope you agree, real food tastes better, and always premium quality meat from local butchers, so fresh to order and never frozen."

Mr Noori added: "We've had a great response and reaction from the Llangollen community and we're really looking forward to serving this lovely town.

"It's a great place to open a takeaway restaurant with Llangollen being such a popular tourist destination and it being a good sized town."

Castle Burgers is open daily between 12.30pm and 8.30pm
