FAULTY electrics sparked a roof fire at a disused property in St Asaph.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident on Rhyl Road at 3.52pm on Monday, September 7.

Three crews attended, as well as an aerial ladder platform from Wrexham.

A fire service spokesperson said: “The fire in the roof space of a disused property is thought to be electrical.

“Crews from Rhyl, St Asaph and Colwyn Bay and the aerial ladder platform from Wrexham attended.

"It caused 20 per cent damage."
