RESIDENTS across Flintshire and Wrexham have been busy this spooky season by transforming their homes into haunted houses.

As the uncertainty around Covid-19 continues and children being urged to not trick or treat, Halloween is looking different this year.

But families have been busy carving out their pumpkins and dusting off the scary ghouls and ghosts to capture some spooktacular pictures.

Mum-of-two Connie Jones, in Wrexham, said she decided to transform her home for her children and her neighbours to enjoy.

She told the Leader she started this a few years back and has gotten bigger and better over the years and now more than ever it is important to give children something to enjoy.
