A DENBIGHSHIRE businesses has re-launched its gift floor scheme to help support local crafts people and their brands.

Such was the success of last year's scheme launched at The Lodge in Llanrhaeadr, just outside Denbigh, that they will once again introduce 'Upstairs @ The Lodge' from Saturday, November 14.

Running up until Saturday, December 19, it aims to support small local business owners who will have struggled during the Covid-19 pandemic this year.

Kate Jordan (below), who is in charge of creative and marketing at The Lodge said: "All small businesses have struggled this year and we wanted to find a way to promote ‘local’ brands and makers by giving them a bricks and mortar platform to sell their work.

Denbighshire Free Press:

"We have a whole host of exhibitors joining us from ceramicists to jam and chutney makers, glass smiths, jewellery designers, florists, textiles, homemade toiletries and more.

"We hope it will not only promote ‘shop small’ but also give people a one stop shop for all their festive needs whilst supporting local businesses."

Once lockdown restrictions are lifted by the Welsh Government on November 9, preparations for opening will begin to take place at The Lodge, with social distancing measures in place.
