A VENTRILOQUIST and his puppets which took America by storm will return to Rhyl as part of a UK tour in 2021.

America's Got Talent winner Paul Zerdin and his popular dummies Sam, Albert, Baby, Roger the bodyguard and an urban fox will appear at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre in October.

They have all spent the lockdown periods of 2020 with Paul and are bursting with energy and excitement to return to the stage.

Zerdin won the American TV talent show in 2006, which included a $1million prize and headline performance in the world's entertainment capital Las Vegas.

The gifted performer will have good company on his journey to Rhyl with Baby, who weighs 36lb and dislikes scary stories and carrots, the elderly Albert who enjoys listening to gangster rap, and Sam, who likes bogeys but dislikes ventriloquists.

As well as his hilarious characters, Zerdin will give the audience a glimpse into his creative world and what it is like to throw his voice into everyday situations, which are unusual only in that anything and everything can talk back.

Tickets are priced at £22 with no concessions. For more information and to book, visit www.rhylpavilion.co.uk or call the box office on 01745 330000.
