THOUSANDS of pounds have been raised for a struggling charity as pet owners and their furry companions jumped on board to help.
Dog lovers Tracy Brown and Cheryl Samuel decided to launch a virtual dog show in a bid to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.
With an original target of £500, over 1,400 members later and a staggering £4,115 was raised for the charity.
Tracy launched a social media group where members from across the world could get involved and donate their entry fee for the 'deserving cause'.
The event proved to be so popular that it will now become an annual event.
