THE I'M A CELEBRITY castle has been lit up blue ahead of the final.

Gwrych Castle in Abergele posted a video on its Facebook on December 2 with the caption: "The castle has been lit up in blue. Could this mean that there’s a surprise in store?"

Fans have speculated what the lights signify.

One posted: "I reckon they are rehearsing for a big finish on Friday night."

Another posted: "Celebrity cyclone".

It is understood ITV have found a way to make the Celebrity Cyclone challenge happen this year.

Hosts Ant and Dec posted a reply to a tweet on their Twitter after fan Aaron Sparks wrote: "What is happening to celebrity cyclone this year @andanddec?"

The Geordie duo replied: "Coming soon...."

The classic I'm A Celeb aqua challenge - always a viewer and camp favourite - sees the final four celebrities dress up as superheroes and retrieve stars from a slippery hill while having obstacles thrown at them.

Remaining in the camp is Giovanna Fletcher, Shane Richie, Vernon Kay, AJ Pritchard, Jordan North and Sir Mo Farah.

Jessica Plumber and Russell Watson were voted off last night.

The final will take place on Friday, December 4.
