NEXT week is Coronation Street’s 60th anniversary and to celebrate, we’re looking back to when Corrie stars swapped the Weatherfield cobbles for various events across Wrexham and Flintshire.
Ian Puleston-Davies, originally from Flint, played bad boy builder Owen Armstrong in the soap but has proved he's certainly nothing like his on screen character.
The actor has been on hand in the region to support many events and good causes over the years.
And back in the early 60s, actress Pat Phoenix, known to many for her role of no nonsense Elsie Tanner, caused quite the commotion when she made a visit to Wrexham.
She visited the T.E. Roberts Ltd store and an event in Holt.
And there have been a whole host of famous 'Street' faces to the area in between.
