North Wales Police's Roads Policing Unit tweeted the driver, who was also not insured, has been reported to court following the incident in the Ogwen Valley on Sunday.

Police have stepped up patrols across the mountain region following a rise in visitors over the Christmas period as the new strain of Covid-19 is spreading across North Wales.

"Driver had an invalid Indian licence as he had resided in UK for over 12 months.

"Reported to court for no licence & no insurance. Vehicle seized.
