FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire which destroyed an agricultural vehicle near Bala.

North Wales Fire and Rescue say they attended the incident, which took place on the road from drws caer gwnyn to trawscoed, Llanuwchllyn, at 2.29pm yesterday.

A spokesperson said: "The cause of the fire is believed to be down to an electrical fault within the engine compartment.

"We used a two hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and three small tools to distinguish the vehicle fire."

One crew of firefighters from Bala had attended.
