DENBIGHSHIRE residents are being informed of temporary traffic orders set to be put in place next month.

The first of Denbighshire County Council's order will prohibit vehicles from using Plas Coch Bach Junction to Hendrerwydd Crossroads, Gellifor, Ruthin, extending northward from its junction with the Peniarth to Plas Coch Bach Junction (approx. 100m).

The closure is necessary to facilitate electrical Service Disconnection by O’Connor Utilities.

The signposted alternative route will be via Hendrerwydd Crossroads to Plas Isaf, Cyffion to Gellifor Farm, Peniarth to Plas Coch Bach Junction.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure and the order is effective from March 8 and expected to last until March 12.

Another order will prohibit vehicles from using Tan Y Graig Road, Pentrecelyn, between Cricor Road from B5429 to Bryn Rhedyn Cottage to its junction with Bodlwydd Road from B5429 to Bodlwydd Uchaf, for a (approx. 1.8km).

This will also affect the entire length of Bodlwydd Junction to Plas Onn Junction, Llanelidan, which extends between its junction with Bodlwydd Road from B5429 to Bodlwydd Uchaf” to its junction with Pen y Cae to Bryn Melyn Junction (approx. 850m).

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by DCC Works Unit and pedestrian access will not be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via Pen y Cae to Bryn Melyn Junction, Rhyd y Meudwy Crossroads to Pen Rallt Junction, B5429, Cricor Road from B5429 to Bryn Rhedyn Cottage.

The Order is effective from March 8 and expected to last until March 26.
