A COLWYN Bay based guesthouse reached the finals in two prestigious categories of the Excellence in Luxury Service Awards 2021.
Joel and Tracey Toulmin, aged 51 and 50, are the co-owners of Bryn Woodlands House. They were named Runners Up in categories ‘Best Breakfast’ and ‘Most Effective Marketing & Use of Social Media’ in the awards, which are organised by ‘Luxury B&B’ magazine.
The couple took over the running of the nine-bedroomed boutique-style premises in 2015.
This is the first time they have received such recognition.
Tracey said: "We came second out of the full list in the Luxury B&B magazine awards.
"Last year was a rollercoaster ride for the hospitality sector, so to be recognised for our hard work and dedication is like finding gold at the end of the rainbow."
Throughout lockdown, Tracey has gone 'live' on Facebook and built a loyal following to her morning ramble around Colwyn Bay.
