MOTORISTS and residents have been reminded that "wintry showers" may lead to some travel disruption across parts of North Wales.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice across Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd and Anglesey.

It comes into force at 10pm on Monday and will last until 10am on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the Met Office warned some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.

The public has also been warned to expect some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces and 'probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths'.

Traffic Wales has issued a reminder this morning, stating "snow and ice may cause travel disruption on some routes."
