AN existing Covid-19 testing centre will close later today with a new one being opened tomorrow, health bosses have revealed.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has announced on social media that the testing unit in Caernarfon is to close from 4.30pm today (Friday April 23).
However a new walk-in and drive-through testing centre will open in Bala on Saturday April 24.
The testing centre is located at The Grîn Car Park, Y Bala, opening from 12pm until 4.30pm, seven days a week.
The change is designed to make it easier for people in the area to get tested for Covid-19 closer to home.
An appointment for a test can be made by visiting www.bcuhb.nhs.wales/covid-19/book-a-covid-19-test/or by telephoning 119.
