The lights and crossing in Llangollen
WORK is to be carried out to refurbish traffic lights in Llangollen this week.
Works to the existing traffic signals and associated pedestrian crossings located on the A5 trunk road at Berwyn Street will start on Friday.
The signals are no longer economical to maintain so need to be upgraded.
The works will be carried out using temporary traffic signals in addition to temporary pedestrian crossings being installed to facilitate the safe crossing of members of the public across the A5 trunk road.
The work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, May 21.
