CONCERNS have been raised over vaccine appointments in North Wales.
The vaccination programme is continuing across the country and as of May 6, a total of 1,884,372 have had their first Covid-19 jab, of which 798,925 have had their second dose
However, concerns were raised over social media that some appointments for vaccinations were being 'postponed' in a bid to ensure others who have received their first doses are getting their required second doses.
There was much speculation that this was a supply issue, with some people saying their appointments, for this weekend, had to be rescheduled.
However, Welsh Government confirmed all postponed appointments will be reschedules.
A spokesman added: βOn occasion, supplies of the vaccine need to be deployed differently. All postponed appointments will be rescheduled shortly.β
