This week there was further easing of restrictions in Wales, with gyms and swimming pools reopening.

First Minister Mark Drakeford said: “The public health situation continues to improve and our vaccination programme remains a success.

“However, the virus has not gone away. We all still need to take those vitally important steps, that we are now all so familiar with, to protect ourselves and each other from this dreadful virus.

“By working together, by following these rules, the quicker we will return to normality. Together, we will continue to keep Wales safe.”

Vaccinations are being given at 546 locations across Wales, including at 360 GPs' surgeries, 41 vaccination centres and 35 hospitals.

• The Welsh Government aims for all adults to have been offered a vaccine by the end of July.
