HERE are the latest traffic orders which are set to come into force in Denbigh and the surrounding area in weeks to come.

Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) has is to prohibit any vehicle proceeding on road from Llanfairtalhaearn to Waen Fawr Isaf from the junction of the A548 to the junction of Allt Ddu.

This is in order to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works and will be carried out in phases.

The Order comes into effect on June 1 for a maximum period of 18 months or until the resurfacing programme has been completed and will be in force for periods of 3 weeks only when appropriate traffic signs are displayed on each site in advance of works commencing

The second order imposed by CCBC will prohibit vehicles from travelling from Cefn Y Groes Bach to Llansannan, from the junction of Pont Rhydlechog to the junction of the B5382 to Llansannan.

The Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works and will be carried out in phases.

The Order comes into effect on June 1 for a maximum period of 18 months or until the resurfacing programme has been completed and will be in force for periods of 3 weeks only when appropriate traffic signs are displayed on each site in advance of works commencing

The last one from CCBC will prohibit vehicles from travelling from Waen Fawr Isaf to Cae Goronwy, Llansannan, from the junction of the A544 to the junction of Cae Goronowy to Rhos.

The Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works and will be carried out in phases.

The Order comes into effect on June 1 for a maximum period of 18 months or until the resurfacing programme has been completed and will be in force for periods of 3 weeks only when appropriate traffic signs are displayed on each site in advance of works commencing

Denbighshire County Council has also made an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of B4501 Lawnt Road, Denbigh, which extends from Lon Llewelyn Love Lane Junction to Lawnt.

The closure is necessary to facilitate trench excavations in the carriageway for an electrical services connection by O’Connor Utilities on behalf of Scottish Power.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure and signposted alternative route will be via: B4501, B5435, and A543.

The Order is now in effect and will last for an eighteen month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until May 17, 2021.
