STAFF members and a member of the public were assaulted at Aldi in Llangollen, police have said.
North Wales Police said the incident occurred at at about 5.20pm on Saturday (May 8).
It saw a 17-year-old man become "aggressive and abusive" after he was refused service, and tried to leave the store without paying.
When challenged by staff, he assaulted them, as well as a member of the public who tried to assist, police said.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident to contact them urgently on 101.
