A 57-YEAR-OLD man who was arrested in relation to a death in St Asaph has been released on bail.
North Wales Police said its enquiries are ongoing into the incident on Llys Clwyd on Wednesday, June 16.
Police had received a report that an assault had taken place outside an address.
A 58-year-old man was taken to hospital following the incident but later died, police said.
"The 57-year-old man who was arrested following the incident in St Asaph on Wednesday afternoon has been released on police bail," a police statement said.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the assault which happened outside an address in Llys Clwyd."
Detective Chief Inspector Emma Naughton added: “Our sympathies remain with the man’s family, who are being supported by specialist Family Liaison Officers.
“We continue to appeal to anybody who may have been in the vicinity of Llys Clwyd shortly before 5pm on Wednesday afternoon to contact us.”
