CHILDREN at Ysgol Carrog have been busy during the summer term so far.
The foundation Phase have been making great use of their outdoor Classroom. They have created a wonderful wildlife area and have a pirate ship and small world area for creative play.
Back in the classroom they have had lots of fun problem solving and learning to weave.
In the Key Stage 2 Class ,their topic this term is ‘SPLASH. With this, they have been exploring the environment, recycling, and using the novel ‘Stig of the dump’.
They created a sustainable home on Minecraft Education, designed and made a moving animal out of recycled materials and recreated Stigs home in the nature area through den building activities.
Cricket Cymru held a session and Year 6 completed Bike Ability safety courses.
