Scam signs
RESIDENTS have been warned about a recent Covid-19 scam.
The advice comes from Flintshire Trading Standards and concerns a scam email about a 'Covid Vaccine Passport Scheme'.
A spokesman for the Trading Standards team said: "The email purports to be from the NHS and informs the recipient that they can apply for their `Digital Coronavirus Passport’.
"When clicking on the link in the email, it takes you to a convincing but fake NHS website and then asks for personal and payment details.
"Do not click on this link.
"Your vaccination status is obtained free through either the NHS app, website or by calling the NHS on 119."
