PUPILS at St Brigid’s school have raised more than £600 for charity in recent weeks.
Youngsters in year 7 at the Denbigh-based school have been busy raising some much needed funds for Christian Aid.
By taking part in a sponsored walk, and attempting to guess the amount of sweets which were put into a jar, the pupils collected a total of £622.24 (Figure correct at time of writing).
The whole sum will now be donated to the Christian Aid charity.
Christian Aid is a global movement of people, churches and local organisations.
The charity works with the main goal of creating a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.
