I’M A Celebrity fans have had a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a trial held during its one-off series at Gwyrch Castle.

The historic castle in Abergele has shared images taken during ITV filming of the hit show that introduced millions of viewers to the area last November.

The location began to welcome visitors after lockdown restrictions were eased earlier this year and it has kept set features such as the red telephone box and Kiosk Cledwyn's Ye Olde Shoppe.

Tourists can also get a tour of visit the castle’s outdoor areas, such as the gardens and campmates’ courtyard that made frequent appearances in the show.

The car park may seem less of an attraction, however it is where celebrities took on the infamous trial Rancid Rotisserie and epic finale Cyclone took place.

Gwyrch Castle shared behind-the-scenes shots of the tasks, adding: “We have another behind the scenes look at one of the trials from I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, this time it’s Rancid Rotisserie!

“This trial was filmed in the car park along with Cyclone.”
