A WREXHAM couple who had to postpone their wedding for a year due to the pandemic have finally been able to tie the knot in style.
Charlotte Evans and Rhys Hughes, of Penycae, originally booked to have their big day at Tyn Dwr Hall, Llangollen, in July 2020.
After making the booking in January of that year, it soon became clear that due to lockdown restrictions they would not be able to have the wedding of their dreams.
The couple had to wait more than a year until lockdown restrictions eased in Wales, meaning couples could finally plan to have weddings surrounded by their friends and family.
It saw Tyn Dwr become a hive of activity as they arranged dates with couples. The venue hosted three weddings in three days at the start of July.

And it meant that, this month, Charlotte and Rhys could have their big day, joined by 65 adult guests and nine children joining them.
Their friends and family enjoyed lots of fun activities, including pimp your prosecco, garden games, marshmallow toasting, and a doughnut wall.
Charlotte and Rhys said: "We just wanted to say thank you so much for everything that you and the team did do make sure we had the wedding of our dreams on Friday.
"After our wedding was postponed last year and because there are still being some restrictions in place, it’s fair to say we were a little nervous about what our wedding day might be.
"To any couple getting married at Tyn Dwr, rest assured you’re in very good hands.
"We had the very best day of our lives and there is nothing we would change about the experience. Every guest at our wedding was highly complimentary of the venue, the food, our suppliers and most importantly the Tyn Dwr family.
"All we can say is, from the very bottom of our hearts, thank you and love to you all!"
