NEARLY three-quarters of adults in Denbighshire have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.

Public Health Wales data shows 58,359 people aged 18 and over have been given both doses of a vaccine up to July 18 – 71% of the area's age group.

They make up part of the 69,859 people who have been given at least one jab – 85% of the over-18 population.

Figures on second doses for each age group in Denbighshire show:

18 to 29 – 4,232 administered (32%)30 to 39 – 4,456 administered (40%)40 to 49 – 7,718 administered (67%)50 to 54 – 6,243 administered (85%)55 to 59 – 6,756 administered (88%)60 to 64 – 6,182 administered (90%)65 to 69 – 5,757 administered (93%) 70 to 74 – 6,431 administered (95%)75 to 79 – 4,607 administered (95%)80 and over – 5,977 administered (95%) Across Wales, 1.9 million people have had both doses, 74% of the over-16 population, and 2.3 million (88%) have had at least one dose.

Vaccinations are being given at 546 locations across Wales, including at 360 GP surgeries, 41 vaccination centres and 35 hospitals.
