A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after an assault in Denbigh.
North Wales Police confirm a 23-year-old was seriously assaulted in Denbigh town centre during the early hours of Sunday morning.
At approximately 1am the assault took place around the vicinity of the ‘Star Grill’ kebab shop.
A spokesman for the Conwy and Denbigh Rural policing team said: "Officers attended and the 23-year-old victim was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd where he currently remains with serious injuries.
"Anybody who may have witnessed the assault or who may have information that could assist with the investigation is asked to contact officers at St Asaph CID via the website or by calling 101 quoting reference number Z107761."
