WREXHAM FC has resolved a glitch which affected some fans trying to renew their season tickets online.

The club had issued a statement to apologise for the technical issues experienced yesterday, which left some fans unable to buy their tickets via the Ticketmaster website.

Tickets went on sale at midday yesterday for existing season ticket holders, ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Some fans took to social media to flag up the issues they were having renewing their season tickets.

Club chief executive Fleur Robinson apologised, saying the issue was due to circumstances beyond their control, since the service was provided by a third party.

The club thanked fans for their patience, saying that the issues had now been resolved and season tickets can be renewed via https://www.eticketing.co.uk/wrexhamafc/.

To renew online, fans will need their specific I.D. number, which was emailed out to all supporters before season ticket sales opened. Anyone who hasn't received their specific I.D. is advised to check their junk folder and email ticketoffice@wrexhamfc.tv.

A club spokesperson added: "Thanks to all supporters who have renewed their season ticket, both online and in person, today.

"We are excited to see so many supporters keen to join us on the journey ahead, and look forward to welcoming more supporters – both old and new – to the Racecourse Ground."

Season ticket renewals are open for existing (2019/20) season ticket holders until 5pm on Tuesday August 3, after which they will go on general sale from Wednesday August 4 until Wednesday August 11.
