A 'DIVERSE range of inspired work' is currently on display at a month-long art exhibit at Llangollen.

The Llangollen Museum Exhibition is being run by Llangollen Artists, a group of professional artists formed in 2013 who are mainly based in the Denbighshire Town.

The exhibit features the work of Richard Buxton, Simon Collinge, Sylvia Evans, Jan Murray, David Pollock and Barrie Potter.

A statement from Llangollen Artists describing the event read: "Using a range of media and techniques, including drawing, film, installation, mixed media, painting, photography, print making, sculpture and textiles, they create a diverse range of inspired work.

"This diversity provides a challenging and inspiring variety of imagery and subject matter including Landscape, Portrait, Wildlife and Abstract work."

The exhibit, which started on September 8, is taking place until October 17 at Llangollen Museum.

It is open on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, 11am until 4 pm.

Llangollen Artists have previously exhibited at various venues in the town including the Pavilion and Plas Newydd.
