FOUR of Denbigh Cricket Club's most talented young stars have represented North Wales this season.

The quartet have been part of the region's under 11's side's victories over South Wales, East Wales and West Wales, Shropshire and Herefordshire.

Umer Farrukh, Eshaan Pasha, Sam Kitching and William Schrimshaw have all impressed and shown great promise for both the region and their local club.

All four of them have also been part of the very successful Denbigh Under 11 team who won the North East Wales North Under 11 league - winning all but one game during a fantastic season.

In fact, this team have only lost 2 games in the last 4 years.

Club chairman David Schrimshaw said: "The club has a thriving junior section which had over 60 children attending their All Stars programme and 29 children at the Dynamos programme.

"We hope to see many more children going on to play cricket for Denbigh over the coming years and follow in the footsteps of these four."
