MORE than 2,500 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Wales today.
In the latest update from Public Health Wales on September 21, it is reported that 2,576 people have tested positive for the virus.
Sadly, an additional seven people have died after a positive covid test.
In North Wales, there were 498 new cases of the virus recorded.
These can be broken down to:
Flintshire 149
Conwy 106
Denbighshire 85
Wrexham 68
Gwynedd 59
Anglesey 31
The seven-day infection rate in Wales as a whole is now 527.4 cases per 100,000 people.
In North Wales, the county with the highest rate of infection is Conwy with 564.8 cases per 100,000.
