CAROL Vorderman has been flying the flag for Wales during filming for the BBC.

Carol posted selfies wearing a Wales rugby shirt on her Instagram.

The 60-year-old said she was doing a "bit of cheeky filming" perhaps in reference to the pleather leggings she paired the Wales top with.

She posted: "Been doing a bit of cheeky filming today #rugby....should be on @bbcone soonish.

"Glad to be back in Autumn clothes tho....and that the rugby season is back.....love it.

"Happy days."

The post has received more than 20,700 likes as well as positive comments from celebrities and followers.

Former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips commented: "Wow".

Scouse_ma commented: "You look unreal."

Carol, 60, regularly appears on segments for the One Show on BBC 1 as well as one off programmes like Closer to Home where she took "a road trip of rediscovery across her home patch of North Wales".

Born in Bedfordshire, Carol's mum brought the family back to home town of Prestatyn.

Carol attended Blessed Edward Jones Catholic High School in Rhyl before studying engineering at Cambridge.

After leaving Countdown in 2008, she has remained a regular on our screens, appearing on Strictly, I'm a Celebrity, and Loose Women.
