KAITLIN Olson and husband Rob McElhenney have been posting photos as they film in Ireland.

The couple's show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, created by Rob, started filming near Dublin at the end of August.

It has been reported that up to four episodes of the record-breaking new series could be set in Ireland.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia began in 2005 and stars in it alongside his wife Kaitlin Olson, Danny DeVito, Charlie Day and the unfeasibly handsome Glenn Howerton.

The forthcoming 15th series will seal its place as the longest running live-action sitcom in American TV history.

The latest photos shared by Kaitlin on Instagram show all of the cast outdoors.

She said: "Is “fam” still a thing?"

However, she warned followers not to scroll to the photo of husband Rob as it could be too hot too handle.

Kaitlin said: "#Location shoot. Don’t scroll to the end if you don’t want to **** all over your office desk.

In the shared photos, Danny DeVito is wearing some sort of harness, leading fans to wonder if some physical comedy or stunts will be involved.

She posted:

Prior to filming, it was announced that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is urgently looking for a Danny DeVito double ahead of the shoot in Dublin at the weekend.

MovieExtras.ie posted the casting on Wednesday, which read: “Urgent - Danny DeVito Double needed for Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

“Yes, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia are coming to Ireland! And we need a Danny DeVito Double.

“Shooting is this Sunday, August 29, and the location is Dublin.”

Rob has visited Ireland before.

In 2019, he posted a heartfelt thank you on Instagram after a family trip.

He posted: “Thank you Ireland. What a tremendous gift it was to spend time with my Dad, my brothers and my sister in your beautiful country. I am filled with so much love for the people in this photo. And for the thousands of people on the shores behind us that made this one of the best weeks of my life.

“You made feel like I was home. Sláinte.”

Rob completed the takeover of Wrexham AFC in February this year in partnership with Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, star of Deadpool and Free Guy.

His being in Ireland had led to anticipation that he may visit Wrexham. However, as yet, neither he or Ryan have made an appearance.

Some fans have speculated that the pair are waiting for Wrexham to top the Vanarama National League for their debut at Cae Ras.
