A STUNNING bi-lingual calendar has been produced to raise funds for the Mayor of Ruthin's chosen charities.

Ruthin Camera Club members were asked to contribute photographs for the calendar.

Unfortunately, during the last 18 months the Camera Club has not been able to meet due to the Covid 19 restrictions. However it has still been able to continue some of its activities, with members contributing photographs for online events.

Copies of the Mayor's Calendar 2022 are now available at £5 each from various outlets including The Old Courthouse/Yr Hen Lys (open at weekends between 10am to 4pm and on some other days), Cut and Curl, Castle Bell, Ruthin Décor, Siop Elfair and State of Distress.

Ruthin Mayor, councillor Heather Williams said: “These photographs reflect the variety of scenes that can be enjoyed in the Ruthin town area throughout the year, and I really appreciate the support of Ruthin Camera Club members who have helped to create this colourful calendar.

"All proceeds raised from the sale of the calendar will be given to three charities, which all have groups based in Ruthin. These are Vale of Clwyd Cancer Research UK, Vale of Clwyd Food Bank and Vale of Clwyd Mind.”
