DENBIGHSHIRE Leisure Ltd is lighting up its attractions across the county in pink and blue in support of Baby Loss Awareness Week.

Ruthin Craft Centre, Rhyl Sky Tower, Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, 1891 Restaurant and Bar, the Events Arena waterfall and Denbighshire coastal bus shelters will all be illuminated pink and blue across seven days in solidarity with the families who have experienced baby loss.

Baby Loss Awareness Week runs from Saturday October 9 to Friday, October 15 and raises awareness of the key issues facing those who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss in the UK.

Throughout the week, bereaved parents, and their families and friends, unite with others across the world to commemorate the lives of babies who were lost during pregnancy, at or soon after birth, and in infancy.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd said: “We’re lighting up our attractions at Denbighshire Leisure Ltd in support of all of the families who have experienced the sad loss of a baby, and also in recognition of health workers everywhere who are doing their very best to look after bereaved families.

“I would like to thank all of those who contacted us about Baby Loss Awareness Week, many of whom took the time to explain their own stories and how much this week means to them. We hope that all those families who have experienced baby loss will feel a sense of comfort and support when they see our attractions lit up in pink and blue.”
