A DEE Valley road that has been branded as a "disgrace" will be repaired early in the new year.

The issue of large potholes on a Corwen road has been raised by an Edeyrnion resident, with repair work scheduled before February.

Elfed Parry, a resident in Glyndyfrdwy, said: "The stretch of road from Canolfan Ni to the museum, the potholes there are ridiculous.

"It's been like this for years.

"Three of the potholes there must be six inches deep and quite large.

"It's a disgrace."

A spokesperson for Denbighshire Country Council said: “Highways plan to resurface this area on Sunday, January 23.

"In the meantime we will continue to monitor the area to keep it as safe as we can.”
