THINGS have added up to make sure outstanding results are on show at a Denbighshire secondary school.
Ysgol Brynhyfryd pupils, in Ruthin, have this week been celebrating some excellent GCSE maths results.
The Year 11 pupils received their GCSE maths results having all taken the exam in November.
A brilliant 70 per cent of pupils achieved A*-C grades and 30 per cent of the year group achieved A*-A grades.
Ysgol Brynhyfryd headteacher Geraint Parry said: "These results are truly outstanding and have been achieved in spite of Covid and having been achieved only halfway through their GCSE course.
"With further opportunities to improve in the summer we fully expect to achieve another record-breaking set of results."
