OVER 4,000 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded for Wales in the latest figures published by Public Health Wales (PHW).

Statistics released on Monday, January 24, show that 4,327 new cases have been confirmed throughout Wales.

A total of 695 of those cases were in North Wales, according to figures. These can be broken down county-by-county to:

Anglesey - 69

Conwy - 102

Denbighshire - 122

Flintshire - 110

Gwynedd - 104

Wrexham - 188

Sadly, a further 11 deaths have also been confirmed in Wales. This takes the total of suspected Covid-19-related deaths to 6,782 since figures began in early 2020.

The PHW figures also show that 1,813,581 people in Wales have now received the Covid-19 booster jab.
