IT will soon be time to step into the garden for Denbighshire society members.

The next meeting of the Llandyrnog and Llangwyfan Local History Society will take place on Wednesday, February 16.

Starting at 7.30pm, it will be held in Llandyrnog Village Hall.

Glynis Shaw will be attending to give a talk entitled 'historic gardens in the Vale of Clwyd and surrounding areas'.

She is the chair of the Clwyd branch of the Welsh Historic Gardens Trust and a freelance photographer with a background in art education and art history.

All are welcome to society meetings, with members paying only £5 for the yearly programme of three meetings and visitors £3 per meeting.

Light refreshments are served for all at the end of every meeting.
