WHAT an energetic bunch of pupils they are at a Llangollen school!
Youngsters from Ysgol Bryn Collen recently enjoyed a wheel-y excellent week!
The Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel initiative took place between March 21 and April 1 and for the whole of the week, pupils were urged to either walk or cycle / scooter their way to school.
It was a very successful few days at Ysgol Bryn Collen, with over 150 pupils taking part.
Pupils either walked from the green in Pengwern or cycled/scooted from St Collen's Church.
According to the Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel challenge, walking journeys, journeys made by wheelchair, scooter journeys and cycling journeys to school all count as active journeys to school.
