THERE'S an opportunity for interested residents to become councillors in Denbighshire.
There are five vacancies on Denbigh Town Council, with three in the lower ward and two in the upper ward.
Expressions of interest are being sought from members of the public who are interested in becoming councillors.
They must be aged 18 or over.
People wishing to put their name forward must have either:
- Registered as a local government elector for the ward.
- During the whole of the last 12 months occupied as owner or tenant land or other premises in the ward.
- Their principal or only place of work during the last 12 months has been in the ward.
- During the whole of the last 12 months resided in the ward.

People wishing to be considered for co-option for the vacant seats can send their CV to the Proper Officer, Clerk to the Council, Town Hall, Crown Lane, Denbigh, LL16 3TB.
