JUST 27 new Covid-19 cases have been reported for North Wales in the latest Public Health Wales (PHW) figures.
In statistics published on Wednesday May 11, as little as 99 new cases of the virus were recorded throughout the whole of Wales.
In North Wales, Conwy had the highest amount of cases with 9.
The figures can be broken down county-by-county as follows:
Anglesey - 1
Conwy - 9
Denbighshire - 3
Flintshire - 3
Gwynedd - 5
Wrexham - 5
Sadly, a further 7 deaths were recorded in the latest round of figures. That takes the total suspected Covid-19 related deaths in Wales since figures began in 2020 to 7,428.
The PHW statistics also show that 1,927,993 people in Wales have received their Covid-19 booster jab by now, with 197,510 people also having had the further spring booster jab.
